5 Healthy Habits Any Woman Can Conquer
Let’s be honest, staying healthy can be hard work, expensive and time consuming at times. We all know and admire with envy that woman at the gym who has a six-pack, glowing skin and appears to be fit and happy 24/7. But doubtful she doesn’t work damn hard to look and feel that way. Because if it was easy, anyone would do it. With a few tips and tricks, staying healthy can be something we all achieve. So here’s 5 simple habits to take you through your day as a fit, healthy and happy woman.
-
Drink a glass of water with fresh lemon and apple cider vinegar every morning. This is a great to kickstart to your immune system for the day and get you hydrated first thing. I have seen it also reduces bloating throughout the day.
-
Drink room temp water (it’s easier for your body to process). Insider’s tip: you should be drinking about half your body weight in ounces. So if you’re 140 pounds, you should be consuming at least 70 ounces a day. That’s more than three liters, so be sure to have a cute water bottle with you at all times. This has done wonders for my skin, appetite and digestive system. Use our Sawtooth Water Bottle to keep your water on hand and be in style!
-
Have some alone time during the day. This is so important to have time with no stress or distractions to pause and listen to your inner self. Even if it’s just for a few minutes. This might be a workout or an episode of TV. My midnight marble Riley Leggings and ink blue Sydney Tank are super cute and comfortable for my “me” time at the gym or on the couch.
-
Take a break from the screens! Put down your cell phone and go on a brisk walk around the block. Time away from your phone and laptop is great for your mind, body, and soul. I have found that unplugging helps me be stress-free and have more face to face convos. A perfect layering piece for getting out is our Aly cross back long sleeve top.

Exercise any way you can. We are VIE: Very Into Exercise! Maybe you’re a yogi, runner, lifter or power walker. I used to think that working out only counted if it was full blown cardio that left me dripping in sweat. But I have learned that sometimes a restorative yoga class or solo walk is really what my body (and mind) need. And let’s be honest, a cute workout outfit always helps kickstart my motivation to get moving. I am currently obsessed with my black Lili double pocket leggings and my soft as butter Tina merino tank.
